I've been working out for about 6 years now and this has been the best progress that I've made yet. These are my tips for gaining weight and putting on muscle in less than a year.

My 6 Month 30 Pound Weight Gain Story

I decided to start putting on muscle and gaining weight back in June. In the past 6 months, I have gained almost 30 pounds. It’s been a long process, but I’ve finally managed to put on some extra mass. I learned a lot along the way. These are my 6 month weight gain results. If you’re interested in putting on weight, you should find these tips helpful.

For the first time in my life, I’m actually happy with the way that I look. I have gained 30 pounds and put on a lot of muscle mass. My body fat percentage is low and I’m ready for a cut soon.

    you're amazing!!!! i have been trying to do 1-2 runs a week and build up from there but all my running shoes suck and I do not know which ones are good or that will work for me!!!! I've been eyeing hoka's but I would honestly love any good running shoes!!!

    Keltie. As always thank you for you honesty and common sense. I bought wide fitting New Balance shoes to run. Now I’ve had an injection for the arthritis in my big toe the swelling has gone down and my shoes are too wide. I can’t win!

    I am getting back into the gym post baby! I also used to compete in bodybuilding so I want to enjoy lifting again and I desperately need a good weightlifting shoe or even something that could do a little cardio and weight lifting so I can embrace some me time and get back to feeling athletic!

    Really need some weight lifting shoes. Trying to get back in the gym and it’s wild how fast shoes get worn out..especially when you’re lol more than 30 pounds overweight 😅

    Hey Keltie! I love your videos, and currently, I’m coming to terms with easing out of my time playing soccer. I’m graduating high school and have been playing since age 4, and after my high school season ends, I really want to get more into powerlifting! I think it would be so cool to have more female representation in that area, and I would love to get a pair of lifting shoes since I’ve never had something like that before. Thanks for considering!     First thing: I hope you realize that this community is a reflection of who you are. You put all this positivity and kindness out there and people who feel the same end up following you so I hope you take time to pat yourself on the back for the work you've done.

    Second: I'm in the market for weight lifting shoes! I didn't even know until recently that you want flat shoes to lift and I assumed I was so unstable in my squat because of my form and I just couldn't figure out what was missing, I think it's a shoe problem. I was lifting in runners and apparently that's less than helpful!

    It's very hard, I thought impossible, to find/follow influencers/content creators that were REAL people/acted like REAL people. Everyone says they're for everyone, and every body, but honestly YOU'RE one of the VERY few who actually acts on it. I hope you know we appriciate you just as much as you appriciate us. (And as for the question- )I don't know what shoe I need. I'm smack dab in the middle of a mourning-weight-loosing/ life-improving exercise regimine, and I'm getting to the point where I can stand longer workouts, but my feet can't lol I do a lot of cardio b/c I have hypotention and tachycardia that we're improving/healing with exercise. (Under the supervision of a cardiologist.) As well as trying to get over wall I hit b/c og my PCOS. I guess I just need more support- but I don't know enough about shoes to know what.

    I'm from alberta and it's so true. The fitness mindset is just not there. It's sad because it wasn't until I moved to the US that I ACTUALLY started training and feel like my progress was stunt because of good ol berta town

    Thank you for this! As someone who has struggled with binge eating and purging through exercise, I’ve always thought the crazy cheat day videos were a potential gateway or outlet (for some) to disordered eating. I’ve been watching your videos since 2018. You helped me heal my relationship with exercise by reminding me that exercise isn’t punishment – it’s for your physical and mental health and it can/should be fun! I set a goal to move daily and I adopted the mentality of “if I move, I win!” I’ve been exercising consistently without a punishment mindset for 4 years now. My relationship with exercise has completely transformed and a huge part of it is because of your videos! I’m now working on healing my relationship with running (that was my ideal way to purge through exercise in the past). Again, your 30 day running challenge inspired me and I have set out to do the same! I would love some help finding the right shoe. I have high arches and my feet roll inwards a little bit when I run.     Keltie, I just want to say "thank you!". Thank you for sharing your wisdom. My view of fitness and healthy movement has changed drastically in the last few years due to your voice always in the background. I now screen programs, recommendations, solutions, etc., with a, "What would Keltie say about this?" approach first. And it's truly amazing how that changes the fitness information I am willing to take in. So while I may not be where I want to be physically years postpartum, I know how to go about getting there while accepting myself along the way and what information will help–or hinder–that progress.     I'm actually on search for some running shoes 😌 i started running half a year ago, but now I stopped since my shoes a in such bad shape and make my feet hurt 😕 ..so i would love to get back into running with new shoes! 🤗 My big Goal is a half marathon eventually 😌🏁

    I’ve been living for these unboxings 😍 I lost myself after sports as well, definitely fell into binge eating. Had a hard time getting out until I found weight lifting. Crazy how growing up you think all I’m ever going to do it’s sports and then when you have to stop you are completely lost 😔

    ….I have a pair of Nike Pegasus…..I bought them 8yrs ago and they're still my fav shoe….there still in pretty decent condition besides the inner sole from normal wear 😂 I mostly weight train….and was running in the spring/summer/fall, but I think I'm going to start biking instead…😁
    And you are an awesome influencer, you are one of my top 5 fav exspecially entertainment wise your so random and informative 😁 keep being you and continue staying in our lives 😁💪🏋️‍♀️💕

    I’d love a pair of those waterproof shoes. Can’t remember what they’re called. We’re getting a dog soon and I’ll be outside in all weather!

    What do you recommend of HIIT training- things like kickboxing or agility work? I have Metcons for lifting, but don’t feel they have enough cushion for HIIT. I use Brooks shoes for walking/running, but don’t feel they have enough support for side-to-side agility. I’m at a loss. Any advise would be greatly appreciated;)

    I actually need a good boxing shoe w/ ankle support! I thought about bodybuilding in my early 20s (you're right, it seems everyone was heading that way then) and I'm glad I didn't in hindsight. It's def not for me! I teach yoga & pilates & aerobics & bootcamps and I've run marathons but right now my focus is on getting my black belt 🙂

    I used to run a few times a week, but since Covid started in March of 2020 and gyms closed, I've been running every single day – or I was until I injured my knee four months ago. Once my knee heals and I can start exercising more fully, I'm really stoked to try to find a healthier balance between running, hiit, and weights and get off the fitness plateau I've been stuck on for a few years. I'd love any recommendations for running shoes, especially on a budget (I just finished grad school and the university took all my money). Thanks so much for your channel!

    Found lifting a couple years ago after only running forever. I still don’t h e a good pair of shoes for lifting and just go barefoot as needed. Only run a few miles a day now to get it all in. Just found you on this video today and love the message!

    I’ve recently been wanting to get into running more. I have a solid weightlifting routine but I’d love to add in running. A great pair of running shoes to avoid injury while running would be great!

    Desperately need a new pair of running shoes. I love running, but I run in shoes that are srsly like 6-7 years old and run down and I don’t think thats good lmao. Btw love u keltie. You have helped me so much with my relationship with food and exercise

    Just learn in lesson never use steel toe for jogging lol:
    high school jog in steel toe 2miles the blisters feet one toe nail popped out toes and feet bleeding. Then I throw steel toe shoes in the ocean walk home barefoot and bought me another pairs of steel toe lol.

    Hi Keltie! Just a few months ago I rediscovered my love for fitness and have brought it back into my life. And, to my surprise I fell in love with something I’ve always hated, running! Haha your last video inspired me and I love this new series you are sharing with us.

    I used to weightlift and I’m starting to get back into it. I miss it so much but am afraid to fall back into burn out. I would love to know your input on this, although you did mention a bit in a previous video.

    Well, I would love to go running (and have shoes for that) but I hate the start, it just doesn’t come to me, so I walked my running shoes down walking my dog. Ich would love callisthenics, but I don’t feel strong enough. What I do is soccer but I had to press pause, since covid took a toll on me and I need to get healthy first, but walking is just my favorite exercise and I will hopefully start to run (you’re idea of one song sounds amazing) so maybe I’ll start this in may

    Ahhh loved this video- hybrid shoe over here. I’m 7 months pregnant and my “fitness goal” is to carry a healthy baby, keep my body healthy and after baby to be athletic and strong so I can play and live life with my kids ❤️
